About KStuff.org

A project dedicated to empower desktop users

Around February 2004, the KStuff project was founded based on several small scripts which were quite popular among KDE users. While Free Software is now heavily used everywhere, many users rely on non-free services for their daily work. Sometimes it doesn't take that much to create replacements or provide additional free services. KStuff.org is a development house releasing the backend software for various KDE applications and the wider KDE community. Sometimes the services are then hosted directly on KStuff.org, but hosting them anywhere else is actively encouraged. Some of the software is even useful for other projects.

In July 2007 the KStuff.org website was relaunched and rehosted to a better server. KStuff.org is hosted by OSU-OSL and would like to thank them for their support.
